This moose was drinking from a puddle about 10 feet from the car. |

This moose posed for us in the lupines which lined some of the roads.

There were 4 moose in this quarry area where the road crew stored their salt
during the winter.
The one kneeling was very young. The others were watching over it. |


This Red-breasted Merganser had 16 (count them) 16 babies.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw this deer swimming across the river.
We stopped and were able to get a few pictures before it made it into the woods.
